Kalbfus Junior Pheasant Hunt

Registration for Kalbfus Rod and Gun Club

Junior Pheasant Hunt is Now Open.


Kalbfus Rod and Gun Club will be conducting our annual Junior Pheasant Hunt on Saturday, October 12, 2019.  Our Junior Pheasant Hunt is open to young hunters twelve to sixteen-years-old who have successfully completed Pennsylvania’s Hunter/Trapper Safety Education Course.


There is no fee to participate. The Kalbfus Junior Pheasant Hunt will be conducted during the Pennsylvania Game Commission Special season for eligible junior hunters, with or without required license. The bag limit for the hunt is 2 pheasants; male and female pheasants may be taken.


To register for the Junior Pheasant hunt please go to www.kalbfusrodandgun.com and follow the link to Junior Pheasant Hunt registration, complete the forms, and return them no later than Wednesday, October 9, by email to mike.fadale@kalbfusrodandgun.com or by postal mail to Kalbfus Rod and Gun Club, 2178 Chapman Dam Rd., P.O. Box 173, Clarendon, PA, 16313 (allow at least four days for postal delivery).


This year’s location for our hunt will be the Bean Field in Irvine, PA.  Our hunt will begin at 9:00 a.m. Kalbfus Rod and Gun Club will provide lunch for our hunters at 12:00.


Hunters’ Requirements:

Only registered junior hunters can participate.


All junior hunters must be accompanied by an adult at least twenty-one-years-old

and are encouraged to provide their own firearms and ammunition.


All junior hunters are required to have her/his own fluorescent orange hat and vest to

satisfy the 250 square inch fluorescent orange requirement.


All junior hunters are required to sign in prior to the hunt.


Additional information will be emailed to all registered hunters on Thursday, October 10.
