You need look no further for country beauty. The Russell area is ideal for a Sunday drive and cannot be beat when it comes to fall foliage. Downtown Russell has a community park, a diner, antique shops, and churches. Just up the road a bit is a hidden gem, the Larimer & Norton Bat Factory that makes professional baseball bats. 

     Two of the area’s finest golf courses are located here, Blueberry Hill Golf Club and Cable Hollow Golf Course Both of which provide absolutely beautiful settings for an enjoyable day on the links. While in the area, stop by the Russell Roller Rink where there's always something fun going on. The Audubon Community Nature Center is just across the NY border and is great for a family hike. 

     From Russell take a drive to Lander to see Amish farms, a country church, and even a new health clinic. Brown's Pond is open for fishing, as is the Conewango Creek.
